i can't, and don't know why i don't want to, do the same thing again... but the traces left brought tears into my eyes, of those days when i was learning from all those people sitting round, listening to and looking at me!

packing and moving are like digging into past and remembering things you have left behind!

i will throw most of them away this time! it's time to clean myself off the past!
memory faculty is still working fine... , alzheimer hasn't struck me yet, and no grand-child is going to be there to enjoy the stories, checking out the traces!

maybe i should have left them in my room miles and miles away among all the rest that are getting covered with dust ...

i'm not expected to stereotypically say "Happy NY" to iranians i know or talk of it here at this time (iranian new year) and ...
but almost all my non-iranian friends and even class-mates know that iranians have a different time for celebrating new year, because i tell them and expect them to say "HNY" to me!! :D
plus, i do care for and respect the story behind the nowruz rather than just simply following its rituals.

not to mention i've had assignments and projects and labs due since yesterday till next 2-3 weeks... + final exams!!
on top of all these, i am going under a sort of... (it's secret :D) next week and the one after..., i've been waiting for almost 9 months or so!
just keep your fingres crossed for me... altho i'm not religious and you might not be christian!
i'm not scared or what, but it's got the potential of being damn risky!

saint patrick + grocery
i had to do grocery today, and the supermarket is right on St. Catherine in the heart of downtown.
the parade was ending, but the crazy crowd were still screaming and hailing; there was this group of teenagers and young adults walking with all features of St. Patrick from NDG + CDN and among all flags of different nationalities supporting and celebrating it, there was this I.R.I falg flying !!!
with that stupid logo of Allah in the middle...
come on!!!
what is the relation b/w the history behind the parade and the pride that the Irish feel and I.R.I flag?! knock it off!

i should feel happy today, because of good news and events for me since a couple days to date, especially that they are like a precious relief after this damn food-poisoning that knocked me down last weekend, but .... !!?
