unexpected ...

my moments have become full of bad news or dizziness,
and i'm filled with madness;
and hope is fading or running away from me?!

damn it!

nothing is worse than living in despair.
wish i could smash things, or cry out my anger louder than them...

"hang in there, hang in there!", i keep telling me.
either stop contracting for ever or do it right. you hear me?!
----------------------
relevant or not, through paradox, i went to this page. it's interesting that Baha'i has 7 m but Zoroasterianism has 2.6 m believers (both religions emerged in iran, although Zoroasterianism is way more ancient). actually a few months ago, i heard from a friend that her co-worker, being Quebecois, is converting to Baha'i as his wife (a Quebecoise) was believing in it since i-dunno-when. and they were planning on going on a sort of religious mission to Bosnia in summer. i was like: !!!???
then this made me read more on it in internet... seems the Bahai's are actively spreading their belief round the globe !
although its founder used to be a muslem, i still doubt Baha'i has really emerged from islam!!??
any thought?
PS: you can read about it in wiki.

Encountering the Baha'i Faith can be very surprising indeed. The Faith has the power to resolve many seeming paradoxes in this world through its ability to engender a sense of unity as only a belief in God and a willingness to do what God wants of us to do in this day can do. Have you visited http://bahai.org, the official website of the International Baha'i Community?

Zoroastrianism: This religion is in every major comparative religion text book, yet during the 1990s and for a few years thereafter it was actually listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the "major religion nearest extinction." The Zoroastrians (or "Parsis") are sometimes credited with being the first monotheists and having had significant influence in the formation of current, larger world religions. To whatever degree that is true, some observers believed Zoroastrianism was in a precarious state and its position as a "major" contemporary world religion was tenuous. Prior to some increased reforms, most Zoroastrians did not believe in allowing conversion. They had even stricter rules than Jews about whether or not children of mixed marriages would be considered Zoroastrians. Until about 2002, most published estimates for the world total of Zoroastrians were 100 to 125 thousand. More recent publications of many major encyclopedias an world alamanacs include population estimates of 2 to 3.5 million. The government of India has actively encouraged the growth of its Zoroastrian population. Since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and subsequent U.S.-led intervention in the Middle East, the Parsees of Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan have been receiving less persecution than before, and have been less reticent about identifying themselves, and there seems to be an increased respect for and interest in this classical Persian religion which was once one of the largest in the world. The current estimate posted on this page of millions of Zoroastrians in the world (rather than 100,000 to 150,000) is still under evaluation. The number does not represent an exponential explosion the number of actual Zoroastrians (although there has been some growth in numbers), but is a result of re-evaluation of the existing population. The majority of the world's Zoroastrians are Parsees who now thought to live in the Middle East. Years of suppression under Muslim-dominated cultures and governments has doubtless led to erosion in some aspects of their community, relative to their co-religionists in India and even among expatriate populations in places such as the United States and the United Kingdom - places with far greater levels of continuous religious freedom.

Bahais are anything exept muslims but history iz full of damn contraversial and enemy-shape confrntation of religions and ideologies. Yeah i think that Bahaiism is not a correct belief but it is not right as much as shiie or Islam itsslef. All have to do something with somebody as a medaitor to get to God and holliness

i dunno why i'm recently so interested in origin of different religions...
i wish i had time now to continue this discussion of how beliefs get shaped and are potentially apt for respect. especially beliefs that deal with spirituality and faith. i guess i will after my exams(soon!)...
But Omid, you are kinda right, that site doesnt seem to have authentic statistics, for instance it says jews are only 14 m in the world!!!?!?!

we need to be unbiased about many things first, then express our opinions.
it's harmless, yet useful to be curious about different faiths and religions and their origins... not only you expand your knowledge, but you will broaden your viewpoint of human nature and probably the philosophy of life...
unfortunately in countries like iran, they brain-wash and mind-wash people especially regarding religion and social-political issues...
we have great open-minded poets, among who, Sohrab beautifully says:
"...the eyes should be washed(chashm-ha ra bayad shost).
perspectives should alter (jour-e digar bayad did)...."
but many of us only mumble these poems, but don't try to understand their real meaning in all aspects of our everyday life!!
